Terms of Use

The rules that apply to browsing and using the Afrivendor website and app, separate from the terms that govern a specific booking.

Last updated: 28 August 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Afrivendor website and app (the "Site"), operated by Afrivendors Ltd (Company No. 15993741), 34-35 Hatton Garden, London EC1N 8DX, United Kingdom ("Afrivendor", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use.

If you go on to book or offer a service through Afrivendor, our Terms of Service also apply to that booking. Where there is a conflict between the two for a specific booking, the Terms of Service take priority.

1. Using the Site

You may use the Site to browse vendors and services, create an account, and interact with the marketplace as intended. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, including features, availability in a given area, or the Site as a whole, without liability to you.

2. Acceptable use

When using the Site, you agree not to:

  • Copy, scrape, or harvest content or data from the Site using automated means.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Site, except where permitted by law.
  • Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code, or attempt to disrupt or overload our systems.
  • Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone.
  • Use the Site to send unsolicited advertising or spam.
  • Access the Site by any means other than the interfaces we provide.

3. Accounts and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly at contact@afrivendor.com if you become aware of any unauthorised access to your account.

4. Content you submit

The Site lets you submit content such as profile details, portfolio images, reviews, and messages ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content, but you grant Afrivendor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and reproduce it as needed to operate and promote the Site.

You are responsible for your User Content and confirm that you have the right to submit it, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights or break the law. We may remove User Content that breaches these Terms of Use.

5. Our intellectual property

The Site, including its design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying software, is owned by or licensed to Afrivendors Ltd and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for your own User Content, you may not copy, reproduce, or create derivative works from the Site without our written permission.

"Afrivendor" and our logo are trademarks of Afrivendors Ltd. You may not use them without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available". While we work to keep it accurate, secure, and available, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses, and we make no warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of any content on it.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Afrivendor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms of Use limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

9. Suspending or ending access

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site if you breach these Terms of Use, without affecting any rights or obligations that arose before termination, including under our Terms of Service for a booking already in progress.

10. Changes to these Terms of Use

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site or communicated to you. Continuing to use the Site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms of Use.

11. Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you in your country of residence.
